Ted Goodwin
Youth Advisor
With degrees from Kent State in Rhetoric and Communications and a Masters in History from the University of Northern Colorado, Ted knows how to pinpoint meaningful issues and address them effectively. A concerned conversation with his niece (Jess) and Jim Ramirez about the issue of texting-while-driving was the original spark for TextNinja, and he has since been able to contribute to the team in a number of different ways, including bold ideas and helpful reality checks. He currently teaches Social Studies at Erie High School in Colorado, coaches soccer for a team of energetic 7-8 year-olds, and enjoys mentoring the next generation of leaders. Ted also spends time camping, boating, skiing, hiking, and enjoying the majestic Colorado outdoors with his beautiful wife Sarah and daughters Grace and Isabelle.
